It will be raining almost all the time and many outdoor activities will not take place during monsoon. But you can visit the place just for its mesmerizing monsoon. Events

As mentioned earlier most of the events and activities happen in summer and during the peak season. The biggest crowd pulling events in Kerala are Biennale, Thrissur pooram and onam celebrations.

Biennale is a bi-annual art exhibition that happens in Kochi. It is the only biennale that happens in the country and one can witness a deluge of inbound as well as outbound tourists that time in Kochi. The exhibition showcases famous works of celebrated painters, photographers, sculptors and filmmakers.

Thrissur pooram is an annual temple festival that happens in Vadakkunnathan temple, Thrissur. Millions of tourists visit the place every year just to catch a glimpse of this majestic celebration. The traditional activities and the grandeur of fireworks are assured to leave every visitor awe-struck.

Onam is an annual celebration, where people bid adieu to the swampy monsoon and welcome the sunny spring. It is a ten day celebration when lot of cultural activities will get staged in the state.

Kerala in general has a pleasant whether during all the seasons. Deciding the best time to visit Kerala depends on a wide variety of factors, including the personal preferences, health conditions and conveniences. For instance, families mostly visit Kerala during peak season and preferably during end of the season as it is the time schools close for vacation.
